Purpose: Processing payments; detecting and preventing fraudulent use; providing transaction-related support

We will update the list above as the services used on this site are added or changed.

Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you have the right to:

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects concerning you.

14.4 How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of the rights above, please contact us through our inquiry form. We may ask you for information to verify your identity before we act on your request. We will respond within one month of receipt, and will let you know if we need to extend that period as permitted under Art. 12(3).

14.5 Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in the EU or EEA country where you live or work, or where you believe an infringement has taken place. In the United Kingdom, the relevant authority is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

14.6 International Transfers

Rapls Works operates from Japan, and your personal information is processed there. The European Commission has recognised Japan as providing an adequate level of data protection, so no additional safeguards are required for transfers from the EEA to Japan.

The service providers listed in Section 9 (Google LLC, Microsoft Corporation, and Stripe, Inc.) may process your information in the United States and other countries. Those transfers are covered by the safeguards each provider maintains, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Details are set out in each provider’s own privacy policy, linked in Sections 4 through 7.

14.7 Retention

We keep your personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Inquiry form submissions — for as long as needed to answer your inquiry and to handle any follow-up on the same matter
  • Purchase and transaction records — for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law
  • Analytics and advertising data — for the retention period configured in each provider’s service, as described in their respective privacy policies

When the retention period ends, we delete the information or render it anonymous.
